"Harsh conditions" might be an overstatement, but I'll let Nate take pride and exaggeration in telling his tales of conquering the marathon....even though I was there and know the truth...your secret is safe with me.

Hey, I haven't told any exaggerations yet! A full recap of the marathon is to come later. In any case, while the rain wasn't as bad as predicted during most the course, the wind was pretty strong on the exposed stretches, which included the 4 Newton hills. It was probably the worst conditions of any marathon I've run yet, but it certainly wasn't as bad as it could have been. I was glad it wasn't any worse, because then it would have been worse for those awesome spectators (like Alison).
